Find Your Sunlight is run by Mawi, Inc. This page explains what we collect on FindYourSunlight.com and what we do with it, in plain words.
When you enter your email to get the Introduction or join the Sunlight community, we use it to send you what you asked for: the Introduction, occasional emails that help you find your Sunlight, and a heads up on the book, the assessment, retreats, and events. The list is hosted on Substack, which has its own privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We don't sell or rent your email address. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site and send email, or when the law requires.
What you type into the contact form (your name, email, organization, group size, and message) is emailed to us so we can reply. We keep it as long as we need it to work with you, and we share it only with the service providers that help us run the site, or when the law requires.
When the assessment opens, your answers and results may be stored with your email address so we can show them to you, so you can take the assessment again later and see what's changed, and so we can improve it over time. Your answers and results belong to Mawi, Inc. We may use them in combined, anonymous form (for example, "40 percent of people had Relational as their brightest source") for research, writing, and workshops. We don't publish or share individual answers in a way that identifies you, and we don't sell them. If a school, company, or team arranges the assessment for a group, we may share a combined summary with the organizer; we don't share an individual's results with the organizer unless that person asks us to.
The assessment is for reflection and self-awareness. It is not a medical or psychological evaluation, and it isn't a substitute for advice from a doctor or counselor.
We may use a basic analytics tool to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It doesn't tell us who you are. We don't run ads and we don't use advertising trackers.
The site and the assessment are meant for adults, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you're between 13 and 18, please use them with a parent or teacher. Schools that want to run the assessment with students should contact us first so we can set it up appropriately.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or email system is perfectly secure. The site is run from the United States, and your information may be stored there.
If you'd like us to delete your email, your contact-form messages, or assessment results tied to your address, email info [at] findyoursunlight [dot] com and we'll do what we reasonably can.
If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top. Questions are always welcome at the same address.
